Elżbieta Franków-Jaśkiewicz is the Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Information (Polish FIU), Ministry of Finance, Poland. Since September 2023, she has been the Interim Chair of the Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units, previously serving as Vice Chair since July 2022. With over 30 years of government administration experience in Poland, she has focused on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing for the past 20 years within the Polish Financial Intelligence Unit. Mrs. Franków-Jaśkiewicz is actively involved in various international organizations and forums, including FATF, MONEYVAL, the Egmont Group, UNODC, OECD, OSCE, the EU FIU Platform, and more. She has served as an expert on EU-funded projects for several countries. Since August 1, 2019, she holds the position of President of MONEYVAL.
