Eliso Shonia has an extensive experience in the field of human rights protection. She began her professional career at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in 2012, where her work was focused around human rights reporting, monitoring of investigation, protection of vulnerable groups and detainees, as well as providing guidelines and training for acting police officers. In 2021, she joined the Human Rights Department at the Government Administration, which ensures the coordination of executive branch in the process of elaboration and implementation of the state policies of the Government in the field of human rights. Eliso Shonia holds a Bachelor Degree in Law and Master’s Degree in International Relations.
