Dr. Demetrashvili, since June 2014, has served as Deputy Chairperson of Georgia's State Procurement Agency, the country's sole public procurement authority. Operating under the Prime Minister's supervision, the agency manages the entire public procurement ecosystem and legal landscape. Dr. Demetrashvili oversees the Georgian Electronic Government Procurement system as a Central Purchasing Body. From January 2013 to June 2014, he was Deputy Head of the Financial-Analytical Service at the Ministry of Finance, focusing on developing the Electronic Public Finance Management System. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Demetrashvili has held key roles in international public aid and development programs, specialising in areas such as public management, ICTD, and e-Governance for democratic development and good governance. His extensive background includes leadership positions and consulting roles for organizations like UNDP, EU, USAID, CoE, and WB, contributing to various democratic governance programs, civil service reform, parliamentary strengthening, and more.
