Ana Revuelta Alonso is the UNCAC Coalition's Regional Coordinator for Europe. In this role, she fosters a network of over 100 civil society organizations and experts on transparency and anti-corruption across Europe, facilitates capacity building, and promotes joint advocacy for the implementation of the UN Convention against corruption in the region.
She also works as a researcher and reviewer for the Independent Reporting Mechanism of the Open Government Partnership, assessing the quality and implementation of open government action plans of member countries.
In 2008, she joined Transparency International in its Secretariat in Berlin, and later on its Chapter in Spain, where she researched and advocated for lobbying regulation and led a multidimensional, 4-year program to improve access to information and accountability in public procurement and to promote a clean business environment.
In 2021, she was engaged by the United Nations FACTI Panel to convey their recommendations on financial accountability, transparency, and integrity for achieving the 2030 Agenda through thematic briefings in the European region, addressed to government, business sector, and civil society representatives.
Her academic background is in international economics, development studies, government and public administration.
