Thea Kentchadze brings in more than twenty years of professional experience with Georgia’s public institutions, a leading think-tank, and various international development programs, covering areas of international relations, good governance, public service reform, parliamentary strengthening, and private sector development.
She joined the USAID Economic Governance Program in Georgia in 2021 to oversee implementation of the USAID funded grant activities that support mechanisms for effective and sustainable dialogue on key economic reforms between public and private stakeholders. This work builds on her prior experience in developing competitiveness of Georgia’s private sector, specifically, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as part of the EU-funded projects at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Her professional career also includes working in Georgia’s diplomatic service as a senior counselor at the Embassy of Georgia to the United States and managing parliamentary strengthening program for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
