With over 20 years of experience, Veronica is a leader in open government, data governance, AI, and civil society development. She has made significant contributions globally, impacting regions such as the EU, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, South Asia, Western Balkans, and Africa. Veronica specializes in designing and implementing capacity-building programs for both public and civil sectors, conducting assessments, and evaluations, and shaping public policies in areas like data governance and digital transformation.
Veronica played a pivotal role in Moldova's Open Government initiatives, contributed to global committees, including the Open Government Partnership Steering Committee, and is a member of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) and ICANN. Currently serving on the Committee on AI and the Access Info Group at the Council of Europe, she holds an MA in Contemporary Diplomacy and is pursuing an MA in Artificial Intelligence for Government.
Fluent in English and Russian, with basic knowledge of German and French, Veronica, originally from Moldova, is now based in Vienna, Austria, actively contributing globally in governance and data development.
